The occupations with the highest projected growth through 2028 are in the renewable energy sector.  Green Development is creating jobs in solar and wind energy, right here in Rhode Island.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics lists solar photovoltaic installers and wind turbine service technicians as the two occupations expected to experience the highest percentage of growth through 2028.  In addition to these field-based roles, the renewable energy field has created high demand for electrical and civil engineers, project managers, drafters, environmental scientists, asset managers, and energy-focused roles in finance, law, accounting, and more.

Here in Rhode Island, Green Development has been building renewable energy projects and creating local jobs for the past 10 years.  Hear from Matt Ursillo, Director of Project Development, about what it has meant for him to be able to raise his family and work in his home state of Rhode Island, and from Tim O/Malley, about the wide variety of job and career opportunities available in the renewable energy sector.
