JOHNSTON WIND (21 MW)
This project consists of seven 3-MW wind turbines located in Johnston, RI (21 MW total). Construction was completed in Q4 2018, and the turbines were interconnected and operational in December 2018. Several qualified entities receive net-metering credits for the energy that the project produces, including Johnson & Wales University, the Narragansett Bay Commission, the Town of Scituate, the RI Convention Center Authority, and organizations that provide affordable housing. A portion of the energy is sold to National Grid through the Renewable Energy Growth program.
